I had my first quilting 'class) (we were really just a small group) in the early '80 at Torrejon AB, Spain. Ruby's book was the very first book I purchased. It is dog eared and falling apart, but I would not part with it for anything! I am so glad to see her granddaughter bringing her patterns to life!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18228272999302748449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13578815.post-22558023532945159502011-04-30T16:29:11.294+01:002011-04-30T16:29:11.294+01:00thanks for the update and info on Ruby McKim famil...thanks for the update and info on Ruby McKim family website for patterns! It is so cool that the family understood the importance (to some of us at least) of her original works. I would much rather purchase patterns and books from the families of designers than an annonomous printing house.
Will be looking forward to the post on how wonderful you've done on your test.debbie mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13500909471875374939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13578815.post-56133563024162625312011-04-30T16:28:05.242+01:002011-04-30T16:28:05.242+01:00I am too late to wish you well on your test. She was telling me about the classes and how hard it was to learn everything.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01816001950084090576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13578815.post-10801070008538320142011-04-30T15:21:01.494+01:002011-04-30T15:21:01.494+01:00I am greatly enjoying your Paducah posts...loving ...I am greatly enjoying your Paducah posts...loving the photos when I can say "I've been there"! I was very thankful for the park bench rest area and the lunch areas... sometimes I just had to sit still and decompress.

I love the flower quilts... and the morning glory (I think) quilt is stunning...

Thanks for sharing all the photos and your experiences!Impera Magnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00889488057400766469noreply@blogger.com
