Wordless Wednesday


Ok, so I am not the wordless type...I was cruising through my photo files looking for inspiration for an abstract quilt. This photo may be it. It was taken at the Snowhill Lavender farm in England about 3 years ago.

I think I was biased towards photos with purples and greens since those are the fabrics I am refolding right now!

  7. I love it! Especially the two poppies on the end of the row. Lavender is my favorite and I can only imagine the scent!!

  10. Love that colour combo. Greens and purples: reminds me of your Double Delight and a friend's Gran had a racehorse and her jockey wore purple and teal. As a teenager I thought that color combo was tres chic! Still do!!

  13. I love purple and green! I'm catching up with your last three posts. totally agree with your Houston advice. It is overwhelming and definitely Filenes Basement on Wedding Dress Day. (you know what I mean!)
