Post 199!

I was looking through my quilt room last night trying to figure out what to put together for my 200th posting "prize." (don't worry I am out of gurgling cods....) I think I finally have something that just about anyone would like - fabric! So if you comment on this post before Monday morning (England time!) I will put you into the drawing! What could be easier than that!

Now this will be primarily a post about cats...Italian cats, Greek cats and Turkish cats. Though to be honest they all pretty much meow'd alike! The cats in Turkey seemed to be so accustomed to Tourists they posed on the ruins! The ones on the islands were friendly but harder to catch with the camera. Wasn't it nice of this one to point out the mosaics for me!!

The white cat above followed us all around the monastery at Patmos. I feel a med-cat quilt coming on.....

Did you take any more pictures of the ruins in Turkey?

  4. I can't wait to see the Med-cat quilt! (For a play on the theme - you could back it with Vet (doctor) cat fabrics... - I have 3 versions & a charm form a 4th... So they are out there!)

Oh & if I win, I'll take a gurgling cod!

  15. I was on a similar tour around to several Islands a few years ago. Our ship the Titan, was comfortable. We visited the Ephasis as well as Mykinos, Crete, Santorini, Rodes and Athens. Was a great 17 day tour. A trip of a lifetime for us.. Loved the cats and it took everything not to pat them. Hubby kept saying, dirty, dirty.....oh well.

  18. Count me in as one who's sorry there's not to be a gurgling cod for the prize!

It's fun seeing the cats from different countries. We are not owned by a cat (DH is too allergic) but I have taken to buying at least one cat calendar every year :- )
