This will be a binding month for sure with two king size quilts and this wallhanging to finish! I have to admit sewing binding is my least favorite part of quilting. I once had a quilt quilted and then let it sit for almost 5 years in my sewing room before I put the binding on...so bad. So I'm thinking if I focus on finished one a week during the month of June I should catch up. I'm also hoping that putting it on my blog is sort of like stepping on the scale at Weight Watchers...it will make me focus!

Good news, the foot has almost healed up from it's ant attack. Bizarrely, since the attack my MS spasms have stopped. Not sure why but hey, I'll take it! Here's hoping it lasts!
I've heard of snake venom being studied for MS, so maybe you're on to something with those ants! Congrats on finishing quilting your favorite sayings. :)
ReplyDeleteI take my camera to my sewing group and forget to take pictures! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have done that too...it is time for show and tell and my camera is at home. Good luck on getting your quilt done...it is a lovely quilt with so many warm colors.
ReplyDeleteYour on to something with the ant bites! i like the color variations on that quilt...very coat of many colors!
ReplyDelete...sorta like those bee stings man! I'm not signing up for it though. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this happy Wallhanging you have here. I have quilts that need binding, too. My excuse? Cat hair. I fret dragging the quilt to the couch and all the hair with the beasts. ...as if the quilts aren't going to be washed. Whatever, Karen!
It's so pretty. Here it's very cold
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely quilt. Good luck with the binding. I find bindings bittersweet - it is nice that the quilt is almost finished, but then it is like having to say goodbye, knowing you'll never have to work on that quilt again.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was near, I love to hand sew bindings, but borders, not so much.
ReplyDeleteI heard that bee stings help MS, maybe the ant bites do the same. My niece who has MS used to go to an acupuncturist who used the bee sting treatment. Who knows, just take it and enjoy the time without spasms.
