I went to lunch with my friend Paula and her two kids. She gave me this really fun pincushion (complete with vintage buttons that look like ladybugs) and some purple nailpolish...what every mid-century gal needs! I may just use it for my pedicure Saturday...
I have been playing with some 2 inch scraps...still in the autumn mood. Maybe I am trying to convince myself it really isn't going to be 95 degrees tomorrow. If that is the case I should pull out the Christmas fabrics....

ReplyDeleteCute pincushion. If your weather is like ours here in So. MD you'll definately need the Christmas fabric, sorry to hear. Looking forward to the near future when were out of the 90's and back in the 880's where we belong at this time of year. I don't wish for winter in the summer, but it does get dificult when August comes in June.

ReplyDeleteI just turned 60 this past March. My age has never meant anything to me until this milestone! Yikes! 60 seems so "senior".
I like your attitude about using Autumn colors in June. I dread the hot humid weather. I feel so much more flexible in the cooler months.
