Halloween came early

For the past two years my local quilt guild has celebrated Halloween early with a "spook-takular" party.

Lots of fun Halloween themes quilts...

Halloween themed food....
                                                               "Finger" food...
                                                                     Creepy eggs....
                                                            "Punch in the eye"
Halloween projects....
Bottle-cap pincushions...don't we all need one with the eyeball!
and of course costumes....

So this got me in the mood to start putting out some Halloween decorations and working on a couple Halloween themed UFO's that were put on the shelf when I didn't finish them last year!

  1. I started working on a Halloween item a month ago and then thought I have a lot of time. I guess its time to get it and finish it so we can put it up for the end of the month.

  8. oh what an absolute hoot!!!! wish I could have been there. You guys need me to come teach next October so I can come to the party too! I forgot all about Frankly - I am such an idiot. that food is all so much fun. Punch in the Eye definitely made me laugh. I think I am going to forgo Halloween decorating this year - I'm afraid it might inspire Annabelle to great feats of destruction... maybe next year when she is a bit fatter and older...
