I love Molas! I used to clean house for a lady who taught elementary school in the Panama Canal Zone for 27 years. She had lots of beautiful linens and wooden items but I never saw any molas she might have had. She had a wooden tray with a glass covered insert made out of irridescent butterfly wings that was exquisite, even if I did feel sorry for the butterflies!

I'm a big fan of these things. I have a Costa Rica souvenir t-shirt I bought at a thrift shop for 25 cents, with a big one on the front. I hate the way the t-shirt fits, but plan to take the Mola panel off and use for something else. I'll be watching to see what you do with yours.

Wow, I love molas! I have a couple in my house that we got when we lived in Panama years ago. I have never seen any that have so much of a single color as a couple of yours do!

Those molas are beautiful. I have one little one from Panama, and three larger ones I bought at a quilt show. I have them on the walls in my sewing room. I stare at them in awe!

Lovely Molas...I saw some once for sale in Seattle for so incredibly cheap prices. I always wondered who made them.
