We have had a mild winter this year. The spring flowers are in bloom and even the azaleas are starting to liven up the landscape.
What really surprises me however are how many insects are out already.
Yesterday I saw bees working hard (as expected)
and today there were butterflies around my front yard.
Makes me want to sewing with spring fabrics...

and to start planting some seeds for my veggie garden. This year I am going to plant a few russian sunflowers too!

Unfortunately, with the mild winter and early blooms, that means early allergy symptoms as well. Oh well - I'd rather have a itchy nose and watery eyes than be in cold and drab surroundings of winter!

Spring is certainly in the air, although our flowers aren't blooming quite like yours yet but sonn, very soon.

Lovely flowers. I live next to a "bee garden" but we are not seeing the blooms yet. Yes, it does invite a different type of fabric into the sewing room. : )

Thanks for that beautiful taste of spring. We are just now losing our snow......spring can't be far behind! Yay!

What lovely flowers. Georgia is always so pretty in early spring. Have you been over to the Swallowtail Seeds site? They have some amazing flowers.
