One more top for July...

I should be quilting some of the tops I've finished this month but instead I'm trying to get one more project checked off...

After making two small quilts I feel as if this one should be at least twin bed size.  Which means I need to make four more blocks...since the fabric is still on the cutting table I can do it pretty easily but I do need to cut it today!

To be honest I was surprised that I went with a solid white for the sashing.  It is has been a long, long time since I used solid white in a quilt!  I started steroid treatments for my eyes this week. and I am wondering just how much this optic neuritis is effecting my fabric choices.

For instance I know that this fabric is green and pink....it is the background and borders for my guild's next donation quilt.

Unfortunately I just see shades of muddy greenish gray....it sort of makes my "queezy" because my mind tells me one thing but my eyes something else.

Now this fabric I can see.....

I need to make a bag out of this to carry my stuff to the IV clinic....

The paler colors are more difficult to distinguish but everything else is spot on, imho.

Love the fabric you chose for your stuff to the IV clinic...

I'm not seeing much more than you but Wonder Woman, not that is great fabric. Hope the steriod shots work. Love your quilt, white is great.

I rarely use white, either. It fits in when I use bright, clear colors in kids quilts. It is a perfect choice for these blocks.
Boy, when you put the sashing and cornerstones into this it really makes the whole thing pop. It is turning out very pretty!

Awesome amount of finishing going on over there girl! I like the new(old)project, and the white does feel more modern(not that I am, LOL). And in the eyes department, the time during steroid treatment really does change the way you see. I've had a bad time with 'seeing' each time I've been on them after another eye surgery. With both corneas transplanted, I'm always at risk for rejection, even 10 to 15 years old. Haven't needed any now for a few years, but yes, it's partly "them". Love the WW fabric, definitely a bag! Hugs, Finn

I actually love the white sashing you have used with your blocks, they give an unexpected secondary pattern to this piece which I really like!!! All the very best with your steriod eye treatment, I love the fabric you have chosen for your bag too!! very appropriate!!! Take care!!!!
