Bonnie's House block

I made a house block for Bonnie using the pattern on here web site. I didn't square it up just in case... This was a really fun block to make. This may be a possibility for the box of 2 inch strips!

I also cut some Ugly fabric for her. Believe it or not this fabric looks better in the photo than it does in real life! "What were you thinking?" you ask. It was on the internet and was really inexpensive and as I said it looked OK on the internet and is a good name. I thought I would use it for a backing but now I am of the mind to cut it into really small pieces and see if I like it better. (very small chance of that!!!)

I am starting to feel a bit better. Seems my MS medicine and my cold medicine wasn't very compatible. Hopefully the pharmacist has me on the right track now.

That fabric IS ugly - lol !! I won something like that in a quilt guild thing - just my luck. All the nice fabric went to other people. I put mine on ebay. Couldn't believe it sold.. I made a quilt with Bonnies house blocks and it was quick and great fun to do. Hope you're fully fit soon.

The house block is great. I LOVE the ugly fabric. Just my cup of tea! Too bad it isn't purple! I love those wild and crazy fabrics. They are fun to use in a quilt. It always makes people stop and look. Glad you are feeling better.

Glad you're feeling better -- here's hoping you get the rest of the way soon :0). That house block is lovely and I'm in love with your bargello quilt. I think the dark border actually might make the central colors pop -- it's amazing what dark colors do to those we don't think of as "light" sometimes.
