I didn't realize dyeing fabric lead to so much washing...and washing...and washing again. zikes! Even MacBeth is worn out!

At the end of the day I think I like the baggie method over the dye painting method. The fushia and the blue were done in the baggies....

This is one of the dye paintings...

Maybe I'm just not that creative...but what do I do with these large pieces (I know what Bonnie would say - cut them up small!)
I have a bag in mind and may sketch it out this afternoon....seems a shame to hack at this fabric after all the effort has gone into making it!

Oh yes, a purse is the perfect thing to show off your hard work!
a bag would be really fun using that last fabric. wheee.
That is the cutest picture ever of Macbeth. Looking forward to seeing the purse :-).
The fuchsia is beautiful, and leaving the painted fabric whole is a perfect solution. It looks good.
Not that creative --- are you off your rocker (again)? Ahh, MacBeth does look a little tuckered out there Mum.
It does seem a total shame to hack that fabric up. I dig it. It's zesty!
I like the fabric painting a lot!! And if the "work" isn't that fun than I'd not do it again. You have some really cool fabric now though:)
Great job! I feel the same way about the washing (& washing, & washing). I like to use the plastic dixie (adult-size) plastic cups, but think I will add baggies into my mix next time I dye.
Enjoy your creations!
It appears you had a very productive time dying fabric. What fun!
I'd love to see what you do as I still have some pieces from a Shibori dyeing workshop that I never put to good use!
Good luck with deciding on a pattern for your fabrics. A bag would be good for letting the design really show.
It was good to see a pic of MacBeth also. . .hope he is doing well.
Those fabrics are great!!! You did a wonderful job. I'd have a hard time cutting it up, too, after all that work, but a bag would be wonderful!!
