Little Leftover Quilt...

Playing in the leftovers was fun...a bit addictive even. Last night I sewed the strips together and told myself to "back away from the scrap pile!"
This is what I finally finished (for now) using the scraps. Not quite big enough for a baby quilt...too big for a table topper...hummm, maybe just aadd few borders or use it as a medallion to anchor some orphan blocks....
On the pet front...Macbeth is doing better. I think having Graybeard the cat around is helping. Mac checks the windows four or five times a day to keep an eye on his nemesis...the activity is good for him.(Who knows what that cat could have done while Mac was taking his bath!)
Even if it wears him out sometimes....

I came over by way animal lover/quilt lover, thanks for having me. Your quilts are beautiful as well as your animals. I noticed in your profile you say you've tried most things. have you done paper piecing and if so, is there a good site for instructions for someone with brain fog. I tried to find a couple of sites but they get so wordy I can't understand.

Stop by my blog for a chance to win a free GIVEAWAY! Everyone is welcomed. Tazzy

You know your dog is a riot. Wonder if the cat realizes he's being tracked.

The leftover quilt is beautiful and I am always inspired by how you use the colours in such a happy co-ordination.

Scrappy quilts are great. Good for recycling and each one looks entirely different even with the same pattern. Good job.

Lovely quilts and cute pets. I am a new crafter and new blogger (annabelleserendipity.blogspot.com) looking for inspiration for my site. Never thought of introducing my pets and have kept it totally private regarding me and my family. May have to think again as it seems very popular and good to know a little about each of you. Thank you for letting me visit.

I love your scrappy playing! I think it is just gorgeous, and would be a wonderful full-size quilt! (not a hint, unless you want it to be!)

MacBeth is so cute! Glad he's feeling better. And I'm so sad to hear about Greybeard, but I'm glad he's found you. I hate when people abandon their animals.
