Not sure where the past week has gone...haven't gotten near as much sewing in as I thought I had (at least not much to show for all the time at the cutting board!)A big milestone...I've started squaring up the blocks for my RRCB! I may take them to bee with me on Thursday where there is a lot of space to lay them out and sew them together there.
My design wall is crowded with other projects and to fit the RRCB I would have to totally devote it to that one project...easier to lay it out on the floor of the church and sew like crazy for a few hours.
These are the four blocks I did for the civil war block of the week...the log cabin was the designated block but as I have to make a bed size quilt I'm adding in blocks each week. A friend gave me a fat quarter with the Lincoln image on it and I figured that would have to be in this quilt. I have another with Grant and Lee that may work into this quilt as well.
On the health front, the new MS meds landed me in the ER for most of yesterday. I'm beginning to think that going natural and foregoing so much of this "guess-meds" would be better....oh, well....

Hate to hear that the new "guess-meds" caused you some problems... me no likey no ER place!
Hope you're much better today!
Hope you can get those meds working right. I have a friend with MS and she is always trying to get her meds corrected. Love your blocks..they are wonderful.
Your mystery quilt blocks is going to make a very good quilt.
Looks like your kitty gave you some help! :)
Hang in there with the meds -- hope you find something helpful.
I hope you get better soon. The blocks are very well done. And your assistant is sooooooooooooooooooo cute.
RRCB looks great. Your block model is growing and growing!
Hope the meds get all fixed. A day in the ER can never be something to look forward to.
Your RRCB blocks look great. I had so much fun doing the mystery quilt. Can't wait till Bonnie does another. Hope you health issues get straightened out. Hugs
oh my! I hope your feeling better! how scary! not a fun day to spend! takes away from sewing time! :-) hugs girlie!
Sorry to hear about your trip to the ER, but so glad you are ready to put your RRCB together. I am still working on my string blocks and the HST's!!!!
Dang! Messing with meds is NO fun. I sure hope they get working right soon. Love your RRCB. I have my blocks sewn together into rows but they are languishing because I hate sewing rows together. Have you tackled the border yet?
Hope you get the meds sorted out soon. Changing them causes so much hassle.
Love the photo of your helper.
Dobby is so cute in the photo but you know i'm wondering about the girl. Really diggin' your blocks. They look great. I'm not happy to hear about the trip to the ER and I wont press for info but if you feel like sharing with your fellow MS'er - know that I'm here to hear. Always interest, Sio.
ugh, not the ER! shoot, sorry those meds messed you up so bad. hope your legs is working again properly without any nasty meds. love the RRCB!
Dear - it's a good thing you are putting RRCB together in a church - it is one BIG quilt... I am putting on the borders now, and I swear it is now bigger than any open floor space in my entire house! Have fun, be well.
Love how your RRCB is progressing...and the cute pic of Dobby.
Sorry to hear you've been struggling with your treatment...hope things settle out soon and that you are feeling better soon.
I hope you have a better week. That puss cat looks so innocent posing there, as if "I made all these lovely blocks."
You may have a good point of going "natural". Works for me.
Love your assistant!
Oh my gosh, which MS meds are you on that sent you to the hospital? A few years ago, I had a severe reaction to the Betaseron I had been on for 10 years! Feel better soon!
Hope your meds are figured out soon! It's scary when the treatment makes you feel worse than the illness! I had that with my Lyme disease for about 2 years. Some times I read up on the meds and sometimes I choose to ignore the info so I don't go into a panic before I take them, lol. Sometimes I give the info for a new med to MR and let him monitor my reaction...which I'm sure drives him a little crazy, since he hasn't had a physical since he got out of the Navy in 81ish!
I really like the way your RRCB is turning out! Hope you're up to working on it for your sew-in at the church.
Blessings :o)
Hope you are feeling better now!
