I had only entered their territory to find some fabric to back a quilt with. Within moments a box of blue and white shirt fabrics leaps from the bookcase hitting me on the shoulder (yes, the bad shoulder!)
Piecing finished - now for some applique....
Also at the machine...I finished one more civil war block...since it is an Irish Chain I thought I had to use some green!

I love the title of your quilt. Hugs
or when bad fabric goes good....fun back!
The title of your post made me laugh... sorry your bad shoulder was attacked but you certainly showed them scraps, huh!!!
How wonderful!! Fun back scrap attack blocks, they `re very nice blue!!

Ouch! Next time you go in there, go armed with your rotary cutter in hand! Way to show those scraps who's boss!
Dangerous cave! Hope it was at least nice and cool while you were forced to reckon with that fabric :)
Irish chain, definitely worthy of a bit o'green!
Funny how fabric shows no mercy, no matter what vows we may have made! What else could you do but "cut it into submission?"
Ya know, you just have to do what you have to do. Those scraps deserved it...and I must say I love what you did with them. Can't wait to see the applique.
Hope your shoulder heals :-)
hehe! attack of the fabric monster! love what your doing with the blues and bits and bobs!
Isn't it a great feeling to show the fabric whose boss??
Appliqueing the dresden plates on the background is going to look amazing! Love it! How big is this quilt? And how many plates do you have stashed?
TTF- great use of attack scraps. Now you can replace them with new fabric. Take care of your shoulder!
I think your plaid creation is going to look very interesting!! Don't you just love it when fabric attacks you like that LOL! it must have felt very neglected.....
that will teach bad scraps to attack! you are adding that applique to the bad scrap top right? cause it looks great!
love the irish chain but being irish of course i would!
I am so glad you tammed that box of bad scraps. I have bags of scraps attacking me everytime I enter my sewing room. I am slowly getting them under control! I like the blue creation that came from your tamming time! Love those dresden plates against the blue.
It's your previous work experience that gives you the edge over me with those scraps of yours!
Loving all those blues!
I totally love this piecing. Amazing that you can just whip that up. It's liberating, ha?
And how, how about those "time for applique" blocks. Wow. What fun you're having here, Sio. Makes me happy, happy and happy.
