Screeching halt!

Sometimes you just need to take some time off...

that is what my doctor told me yesterday.  They had changed some of my MS meds and my body didn't like them one bit.  Bodies have a way of letting you know!  So my wildly packed schedule for the next week has been whittled down to drinking lots of fluids and a bit of stitching.

I'll continue to work on my Halloween quilt and maybe get some writing done.  Also want to organize my photo files a bit...amazing how quickly they get out of control!

I do love to look at them and see what I was doing a few years ago the same month...
Cotswold Village (2007)...
One of my favorite stops at the local boot sale (2007)...
Great quilt "finds" (2009)
Windy day in the Bahamas...(2010)

always seems more exciting than what I am doing right now! (but then we only take photos when things are interesting right!)

take care, and take a picture of yourself today, so you can add it to your files of exciting stuff. I hope you find your balance again soon.

At least this happened AFTER the quilt seminar, although it might have added to wearing you down... RELAX dammit. Time to eat lots of pre-prepared food...

Rest up! Thanks for sharing your pics - I happen to be making the Album type blocks like the quilt you found. They look so nice sashed in something with a strong contrast. I may borrow that idea ;)

You have had so much on your plate lately--I had been wondering if you were holding up well with the traveling and caring for DH, etc.
I guess our bodies have to let us know when they need a break, or we would just keep going.

It is fun to look back--and take a minute to recall those halcion days :) Giving yourself a rest from the frenzy is good advice--hope you can stick with it!

Rest up and take the time you need to get back on your feet. I completely appreciate how when the goings good one tends to over do it and then one comes crashing down with a bump. Been there done that :-) enjoy the rest and catch up on all those things that busy busy doesn't allow for... Cuddles on the couch with cat and tea.. bit of stitching and a good movie. ((hugs))
