stress stitching (or not)

If you've read my blog for any amount of time you know my Scottie dog, Macbeth.  Well, he hasn't been feeling well lately and today is at the vet's for an entire day of tests.

So of course I am stressed and having problems focusing.  I have several appraisals to do final edits on...not a good day for that.  I have a stack of applique blocks to work on...not a good day for that.  I have fabric piled on my table to cut for a new quilt...not a good day for that.  The list goes on.

I've gone out and taken photos of the garden...this is the first year my Hydrangea has bloomed.

And it looks like a bird thought about using my birdhouse but found it too small...

And I played with layouts for a Quilt of Valor using blocks donated by members of my quilt guild.

Until the doctor calls with news on Mac I guess I'll just continue to "putter..."

Yes, today is all about Mac. Keep puttering and hopefully it will keep you just a bit distracted.
I'm praying and thinking about you and your sweet Mac. I'm so sorry he's having to go through this. You are taking good care of him.
The blocks for the Quilt of Valor look wonderful.

Once when my Murphy (Cairn) was having surgery, I dropped her off and stopped at Kroger for a few things. No registers were open, just the self service line. I had bananas, I couldn't find the right code #. I started crying.... puttering at home is a good idea. Best wishes for Mac!

I hope all works out ok. Take a stitch and de-stress, it will help.

More good wishes for Macbeth from me. It's useless trying to do anything that need concentration, I found that out when Pippi was at the vets recently.Hopefully it will be good news and he can feel better soon.

Poor little MacBeth, I'm sorry to hear that he is not any better, I hope the test results give you some idea of what is going on for him and that whatever it is it can be treated. I know how that is, when you are waiting on news like that, especially for one of your little companions, everything just stands still and you tend to stop breathing for a bit... Thoughts are with you, I hope things turn out alright.....
