My trip to New England this month has me sketching lots of quilts

Scituate Lighthouse, Scituate, Massachusetts
based on lighthouses,

beaches,
Hyannis, Massachusetts Hydrangea
gardens and

My niece taking photos at the Sandwich Glass museum
even Sandwich glass....don't you just love those colors! Now back to the sewing room to play in fabrics....

I am a glass collector so the picture with all displayed on glass shelves is so pretty and piques my interest.

Love the glass museum - it reminds me of the large glass jar of beach glass we have on the fireplace mantle at the beach cabin. You used to be able to find different shades of blue and green glass, now it's pretty much all brown and clear. Kind of boring, so you have to chunk in some pieces of agate to perk it up.
