Ok, so I am not the wordless type...I was cruising through my photo files looking for inspiration for an abstract quilt. This photo may be it. It was taken at the Snowhill Lavender farm in England about 3 years ago.
I think I was biased towards photos with purples and greens since those are the fabrics I am refolding right now!

I especially like the little splotches of red just off center.
love that!
Those skies look ominous!! I love lavender fields...
Love the poppies. Hope your quilt has a bit of red in it too.
love seeing this 'Sunny' England!
A lavender farm! remarkable
I love it! Especially the two poppies on the end of the row. Lavender is my favorite and I can only imagine the scent!!
i can smell it all the way over here... lovely
The red poppies are great! They add a bit of excitement to the photo.
Love that colour combo. Greens and purples: reminds me of your Double Delight and a friend's Gran had a racehorse and her jockey wore purple and teal. As a teenager I thought that color combo was tres chic! Still do!!
I can't imagine what this must have looked like in person. I need to put seeing this on my bucket list! Beautiful!
I bet it smelled heavenly too!
I love purple and green! I'm catching up with your last three posts. totally agree with your Houston advice. It is overwhelming and definitely Filenes Basement on Wedding Dress Day. (you know what I mean!)
