Last week I saw it still sitting on my Dining Room table still missing one border....how hard can putting one border be right...silly me. First you can really do a bad job with the math....(what is 10 inches give or take...)
Then you can cut angle with the inner border on the wrong side....
of course you can also sew the inner border on so the seam shows but I decided that was not worth a photo...
Anyway it is done. Tonight I'll run it over the member of the guild that is going to quilt it. We need to have if finished by the second week of October so we still have a bit of time....it wouldn't be the first donation quilt that has quilters still sewing down binding at its first showing.....

I understand where you are coming from. I always think I have covered all of my bases, only to discover some big thing I forgot. And of course, when you need things to go quickly you make lots of silly errors. Isn't there a law about that somewhere?
It is a beautiful quilt--I'm sure it will be ready in time. : )
Too funny! I can never make just one mistake. If I mess up, I mess up bad! The quilt looks great anyway.
Even with all the troubles the quilt is causing, it is still very beautiful! Can hardly wait to see it in person.
You've definitely had your plate full this summer... hope things will be smooth sailing from here on out!
Lovely quilt!
It's a beauty. Some days are like that, I know, I have have quite a few lately.
You've had a hard year and no doubt stress has a hand in your math and stitching boo boos! But in the end you got it done beautifully and it will be gorgeous finished.
I love your sense of humor about how "easy" it is to put a couple of borders onto a top. Giggles are better than groans! Glad you finally won with it.
It was worth pushing through...it is beautiful!
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
You have other stuff on your mind, but hopefully you'll both be back up and running soon!!
HOpe all is well with you and your husband. Miss you.
