I was able to get some sewing done this weekend. I'm amazed at how much fabric this quilt is using! Feels like I am spending lots of time at the cutting table...
Anyway, it is coming along. I'm not going to make it as large as Bonnie's Smith Mtn and I've worked out a different border.
Haven't posted a Dobby photo for awhile...he is getting very heavy! At least 16 pounds...that is two of my little Brownie!

Looking good! I need to do a scrappy quilt here soon... the fabrics in the scrap bins are breeding I think...
:)
your blocks look great. oh noooo. I hope my little ones stay really little but at the rate they're going they may end up that size too. Right now they're in the really leggy tween years.
It's going to be gorgeous!!!
I'm loving the way your Smith Mtn is coming out. Can't wait to see what you do for borders.
That is turning out beautiful-so cheerful! I love how you have arranged the colors.
That sure is a fun and cheerful quilt. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! That quilt is looking great.
Wow! That quilt is looking great.
This does not look like the quilt in the book with all the brights!! How much fun. Sixteen pounds is the right amount for pressing fabric nice and flat--see--less work for you!!
That quilt is an eye popper! Can't wait to see the finish.
Looking good!! Saw your picture on Bonnie's blog. Glad you could get together again.
looking good!
i am really liking the colors and pattern...can't lose with a bonnie pattern
I'm LOVING this quilt!
Speaking of cutting time, I almost ordered an ACCU Cutter the other day. lol I still am going to get it, but found a featherweight that took that $. Where I was going with that, is I think Bonnie's patterns and her system would warrant getting one with the strip cutters. I love the fabrics you are using!
Thanks for visiting my blog. Maybe we can all meet up in Savannah one day!~ It's so much fun.
I am in awe of your cleverness with these blocks. And it's using fabric - thats a good thing, no?!
What great fabrics. I almost didn't recognize the pattern at first! It looks so different in your bright and happy colors.
What a gorgeous quilt this is going to be. The fabrics and colours are wonderful.
